Esteban has over 25 years of experience in business management, having worked in marketing (Mallinckrodt Inc.), finance (Midland Bank / AFI) and in mergers and acquisitions (Telefónica) before assuming senior executive positions in the Telefónica Group, US West Inc. and MPG (Media Planning Group), and starting his own business activities. He has accumulated 15 years of responsibility as CEO in these groups. Since 2003, Esteban has been focusing on management consulting, mainly in the definition of strategies and their effective implementation, building, together with his partners, a successful global firm in this space that today is www.thepalladiumgroup.com. Currently, Esteban is working with the Adequita Investment Bank in the Middle East, among other projects, and is a Director of Nethits Telecom Group.
An economist by the Autonomous University of Madrid (Spain), Esteban has lived with his family in Murcia, Madrid, Valencia, Saint Louis, Barcelona, New York and now in Dubai for the past 9 years; having a global understanding of business and culture as well as valuable relationships around the world. Esteban has been a member of YPO (Young Presidents Organization) since 2006, having held various positions of responsibility in the local Chambers of Barcelona and Dubai, as well as in the Regions of Europe and MENA (Middle East North Africa).

He has also acted as Director of Sociedad Rectora de la Bolsa de Valores de Valencia, S.A. He has a Law Degree from the Complutense University of Madrid. Master’s Degree in Business Legal Consultancy (M.A.J.) from the Instituto de Empresa. Practising lawyer at the Madrid Bar Association since 1989. He is a graduate and member of the IC-A Institute of Advisers and Administrators and a member of the FIDE Academic Council.
Fernando Prado is a Partner and Vice Chairman of the Reputation Institute, where he is currently engaged in global business and strategic alliances. He has been responsible for this institution in Latin America and Iberia for 11 years and is co-author of leading methodologies in the analysis and measurement of corporate reputation, such as the RepTrak®model. He has also collaborated in the strategic management of this intangible asset with many of the main companies in Spain and Latin America, as well as with important multinational companies.
Before joining the Reputation Institute, he worked for the WPP Group for 10 years in positions related to brand strategy development: at Kantya, brand strategy, as Managing Director; at J. Walter Thompson Madrid, as Director of Strategic Planning; at WPP New York, as Brand Strategy consultant; at Millward Brown Chicago, as global coordinator of BRANDZ™; at OgilvyOne New York, as Strategic Planner; and at Bassat Ogilvy & Mather Madrid, as account manager.
Prior to WPP, he was Brand Manager in the Marketing Department of L’Oréal in Spain.
Fernando Prado has developed advertising and branding strategies, recognised with numerous effectiveness awards, and published research that was also awarded internationally for its innovation in the areas of brand, reputation and CSR. He is an expert in corporate branding and country reputation, forming part of the advisory team of experts for the institutional project “Marca España”. He also works with governments of other countries to analyse their international positioning.
Fernando is an opinion leader in the areas of reputation, brand and CSR through his articles in the main economic media in Spain and Latin America, and his conferences and collaborations with prestigious universities and business schools.
Fernando Prado holds a degree in International Business Studies from ICADE (Madrid) and Middlesex University (London), and an MBA from IESE (Barcelona).
